Hotel Monaco Takeover

As seen in Forbes and across various news outlets around the country, we created and designed whimsical art installations throughout Hotel Monaco in Washington, D.C. in honor of World Pride Month.

One of our projects was a room makeover, which included a gradient rainbow butterfly wall, custom upholstery with a bespoke headboard and bench, custom floral pieces (and a David Bowie-inspired floral holder), and lots of fun design work with eclectic and colorful pillows, lamps, and beyond.

The Gingerbread House

In November 2023, we debuted our whimsical gingerbread house in Clarendon Crossing in Arlington, Virginia. Over the course of 30 hours, our team constructed this larger-than-life confectionery wonder, sourcing, crafting, and installing over 200 jumbo candies and ornaments.

Our jumbo holiday display was greeted with frenzy of excitement, spreading joy and wonder to thousands with each visit, like, and share.

The Pumpkin House

Picnic & Peonies' large scale pumpkin house for a creative fall installation in Clarendon, Arlington, Virginia.

Before the gingerbread house stole the spotlight, Picnic & Peonies unveiled the pumpkin house! The structure was designed and constructed by the Picnic & Peonies team, so it could be repurposed for years to come. In addition to the frame, our team painted over 200 pumpkins, transforming them into vibrant works of art. To celebrate this creation, Picnic & Peonies orchestrated a fall event, marking the debut of our masterpiece.

Technology Conference Creative Props

With the goal to make a technology conference not feel like a conference, our team created and designed several creative prop to elevate the overall feel and design of the event. We created black light panels that served as a backdrop to the registration tables, custom LED cubes that stacked for a fun moment on the stage, as well as floral arrangements that illuminated with the company’s logo.
